From Bettys to Beckett: Well Met Conferencing invests in catering offer with Executive Chef Appointment

Well Met Conferencing at Leeds Beckett University announces a program of long term investment in its catering offer this month, beginning with the appointment of an Executive Chef, David Parker, to the University. David joins the team from Bettys and Taylors of Harrogate, where he has over 13 years of experience as an Executive Chef. Prior to this he held the same position at Rudding Park Hotel, Harrogate.

The position will be responsible for reviewing and developing existing catering practices, developing new seasonal menus across both the University’s City Centre and Headingley campuses, with an emphasis on fresh, healthy and sustainably sourced produce. David will work closely with the recently appointed Food and Beverage Manager, Sharon Swales and will fulfil a vital new role within the Campus and Residential Services Leadership team.
