Fanhams Hall, an Exclusive Venue in Ware, Hertfordshire, has achieved a meetings industry stamp of quality assurance with an AIM accreditation from the MIA, underlining its ongoing commitment to operate to an industry benchmarked standard of excellence that is recognised nationwide.
The endorsement from the MIA follows a recent rebranding exercise that firmly positions Fanhams Hall as an Exclusive Venue within its parent group, Exclusive, a family of luxury country house hotels, unique venues and championship golf courses in the south of England under the leadership of current Hotelier of the Year, Danny Pecorelli, Managing Director of Exclusive Hotels and Venues.
The kite mark from the MIA recognises a series of developments at Fanhams Hall, including the refurbishment of a number of its guest rooms and function suites, adding innovative new technologies, upgrading equipment and improving soft furnishings to modernise whilst being sympathetic to the natural light and unique space within the historic venue.
Reflecting the Exclusive Venues ethos of injecting fun into events, ongoing investment at Fanhams Hall includes the extensive reconfiguration of its upstairs conference space to develop a new mezzanine coffee lounge and breakout area complete with games consoles, table football, juice and coffee bars and a dramatic double height interactive TV wall, launching early summer 2015.
Debbie Guy, General Manager at Fanhams Hall comments on the move, “I am delighted that Fanhams Hall has been accredited by the Meetings Industry Association, recognising our commitment to quality and service excellence for meeting planners, event organisers and corporate group trainers that continue to invest in us.”
Debbie continues, “It’s an exciting year for Fanhams Hall with planned upgrades and a level of investment that elevates our passion for creating unique and memorable events whilst reaffirming our commitment to the sector and we’re looking forward to growing our business whilst continuing to reflect the AIM industry standard of quality.”
Gary Payne, Chair of the AIM Development Group, said, “Fanhams Hall’s achievement of AIM gives a strong message to new and existing clients that they are committed to excellence, particularly in terms of legal compliance, capability, ethical business operations and customer service. We are delighted to welcome Fanhams Hall into accreditation and are confident that their high standards and commitment will help them to further develop their business.”
The grade II listed Jacobean manor house is a completely private and dedicated training and meetings venue with 12 principle function suites and 12 additional breakout rooms along with a fully self-contained karaoke bar and 77 modern and traditional guest rooms set within acres of stunning parkland and gardens.
Providing additional space for outdoor functions and team building events, the gardens at Fanhams Hall take inspiration from Japanese landscaping and architecture – complete with unique Japanese tea house for private events – and feature an original Queen Anne Garden created in the 18th Century.
