Mallory Court near Leamington Spa has won Bronze at the prestigious VisitEngland Awards for Excellence 2015 after reaching the finals of the Small Hotel of the Year category for the very first time.
The winners were announced on Monday night (May 11) at a glittering ceremony at the Sage Gateshead.
Commenting on the award James Berresford, VisitEngland’s Chief Executive, said “We received hundreds of applications of an exceptionally high standard.
“Winning a Bronze Award is a considerable achievement, especially against such tough competition. Mallory Court is now ranked as one of the top three businesses in their category for excellence in England and I warmly congratulate them on this achievement.”

This year 75 finalists – 15 Gold winners, 15 Silver winners, 15 Bronze winners and 30 Highly Commended – were selected from 345 entries, representing tourism businesses across England. Winners were chosen by a panel of tourism industry experts and chaired by VisitEngland Board Member and Chief Executive of the Blenheim Estate in Oxfordshire, John Hoy.

Mallory Court holds three Red Stars (the AA’s supreme accolade) and is one of the top 200 hotels in the country. It is also a long-standing member of the revered Relais and Châteaux group.
Its outstanding restaurant boasts three AA Rosettes – placing it in the top 10% of restaurants listed in the AA’s Restaurant Guide – as well as an AA Notable Wine List. The hotel’s brasserie holds two AA Rosettes. Multi-award-winning Head Chef Paul Foster, who recently appeared on BBC1’s Saturday Kitchen, is now striving to take the hotel’s food offering to even greater heights.
Mallory Court is part of the privately-owned Eden Hotel Collection, the AA Small Hotel Group of the Year 2014 / 2015. The collection features eight upmarket luxury hotels located across the South West, Midlands, and the Cotswolds. A ninth hotel is being redeveloped in Salcombe, South Devon.
