The UK’s largest design trade show, 100% Design, has celebrated its 21st edition in style by moving to the dramatic setting of Olympia London. The show took place from 23rd to 26th September across two levels and featured five distinct sections including Interiors, Design & Build, Kitchens & Bathrooms, Workplace and Emerging Brands.

‘Olympia London has genuine architectural merit; Olympia Grand is a dramatic space before you add anything to it. The arched windows are a distinctive, almost signature-like motif for the show as part of very busy show season for design. The natural daylight is also a blessing for our industry, and allowed the show to explore the importance of colour in design for the first time,” said William Knight, show director, 100% Design. “The scale and location are essential elements, however the refurb that has been carried out, not to mention the commitment and professionalism of the event managers make it stand-out,” he added.

The show included the critically acclaimed ‘Talks with 100% Design’ programme running across all four days with headline speakers such as Ilse Crawford. Exhibitors at the show are always carefully selected and this year included: Sé, Original BTC, Davey Lighting, Delightfull, Mullan Lighting, Novamobili, Lozi, Blenheim Carpets, bulthaup by Kitchen Architecture, Apavisa, Bette, Zuchetti.Kos, Keramag Design, Porcelanosa, Formica, BuzziSpace, Isomi, Steelcase, LG Hausys HI-MACS®, Iona Crawford, Studio EJ and North Limited.

Gillian Kiamil, venue director for Olympia London commented, “Olympia London is famous for its iconic architecture and continues to attract events that demand a dramatic setting. The ongoing reaction to the venue’s multi-million pound refurbishment is overwhelmingly positive and we’re delighted to welcome industry-leading events – such as 100% Design – that show the venue at its very best.”
